They are also an important base in the financial sector. While they are used in finance, for example to calculate creditworthiness, in games they should provide a fair chance of winning. Even drivers of modern cars are surrounded by algorithms such as an assistant that parks the car on its own or a navigation device that navigates reliably to the right destination. Meteorologists use algorithms to predict weather phenomena. In medicine, algorithms are often used in early warning systems. In nature, an algorithm can predict the risk of a threat.
