Yesterday morning (31 May 2022) the traffic police checked various types of motor vehicles as part of the in-house training “Technical changes to motor vehicles” in the yard of the station in Saarbrücken-Burbach. They discovered a large number of traffic violations.

Officers checked a total of around 40 vehicles. In addition to cars and motorcycles, the e-scooter was also checked. As the driver was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, the doctor took a blood sample from the man. A blood sample also had to be taken from the moped driver as there was also a suspicion of driving while taking drugs. On the other hand, the driver of another moped rode without a driving license.

In addition, the traffic police found 13 cars that had technical modifications. Seven of them have been technically modified in such a way that the license has expired. Vehicle owners can now expect a fine of between 90 and 300 euros.

Three other motor vehicles were not insured. Drivers were forbidden to continue driving.
