Encavis AG is once again part of MDAX
Hamburg, June 7, 2022 Wind and solar farm operator Encavis AG (Prime Standard, ISIN: DE0006095003, ticker symbol: ECV), still on the SDAX list, will be re-included in the MDAX on June 20, 2022. This share index reflects the growth of the top 50 publicly traded companies that in terms of market capitalization in Germany they follow the 40 companies of Dax.

In doing so, the stock exchange honors the impressive success story of Encavis AG. After the former Capital Stage AG entered the Prime Standard of Deutsche Börse AG in 2013, more than eight years ago (March 24, 2014) it was included in the SDAX.

The future MDAX listing is both an encouragement and a confirmation for us to continue our >> Fast Forward 2025 strategy which we first communicated in January 2020, even if we are likely to achieve one or the other goal much faster on the way there, than originally planned, emphasized Dr. Christoph Husmann, CFO of Encavis AG, on the group’s sustainability ambitions.

Sales, consolidated net income and the stock market value of Encavis AG have grown dynamically since 2013. Group sales in 2013 of approximately EUR 57.0 million increased almost sixfold and increased steadily to EUR 332.7 million in 2021. Consolidated net profit increased from EUR 14.0 million in 2013 to the current EUR 77.0 million euro (2021), and also increased almost sixfold. Operating cash flow increased sevenfold from EUR 36.0 million (2013) to EUR 251.9 million (2021). The market value of the former Capital Stage AG, today Encavis AG, has increased twelve-fold over the same period, from around € 272 million (March 4, 2014) to over € 3.2 billion (June 3, 2022).

I am particularly proud of my re-promotion to MDAX for the commitment and performance of our very small but extremely efficient Encavis team of just over 150 employees. The success of this very economically powerful company depends largely on the commitment, passion and creativity of the entire team, which has put COVID-19 to the test, especially in the last two years, said Dr. Dierk Paskert, CEO of Encavis AG, along with the entire Encavis team.
