The Mecklenburg Lake District reports the highest number of newly infected people with 170 new cases. It is followed by Ludwigslust-Parchim (130), the Hanseatic city of Rostock (119), Rostock County (113), North-West Mecklenburg (99), West Pomerania-Rügen (95), Schwerin (62) and West Pomerania-Greifswald (0).

The number of new infections in adolescents and children is rising again

LAGuS publishes a report on the condition of the crown among children and adolescents broken down by age groups. According to a report from Thursday (June 9), children aged 0-5 years old had 24 new infections nationwide, and the seven-day incidence of new infections in this group was 77. In the group of children aged 6-11, there were 52 new infections, the incidence was 103. Furthermore, according to LAGuS, 87 young people aged 12 to 17 years old became infected in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The seven-day incidence in this group was 237. The leader of the region was the group of 12-17-year-olds from Schwerin with an incidence of 701.

On Tuesday (June 7), LAGuS reported the active presence of infection (-1) in geriatric care facilities. 2 residents (-6) and 0 workers (-8) were affected. The numbers are reported weekly by LAGuS.
