Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschak really wanted to sing “A Day Like Today” in the “Always Sunday” final in 2021. But the pop singer surprised him with another song. On Saturday, at “Schlager-Fiß mit Andy Borg” both of them could finally sing their duet.

Baden-Baden – On Saturday (June 11, 2022) “Schlager’s game with Andy Borg” reappeared on home TVs. This time, Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack were also rocking in the rustic winery. Among other things, they sang a cover of Whitney Houston, which delighted not only Andy Borg, but also the audience.

Final “Always Sunday” 2021: Anna Carina Woitschack surprises Stefan Mross and makes him cry

A lot has happened at Andy Borg on June 11: a bachelorette party, loads of emotional fan mails and the TV premiere. Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack (the greatest German pop singers of all time) were responsible for the latter. Two pop stars performed their song “Ein Tag wie Heut” – a duo they wanted to sing last year during the “Always Sundays” final.

We remember: Stefan Mross actually planned to sing a duet with his wife in the final of the last season, “Always on Sundays”. A German version of Whitney Houston’s hit “One Moment in Time” was planned. “We’re not doing it today,” Anna-Carina Woitschack surprises him in front of the camera. Instead of a duo, the pop singer sings a song dedicated to Stefan.
