At Spencer Stuart, one of the world’s leading executive search and leadership consulting firms, leadership changes regularly. Ralf Landmann will hand over the management of the German company to Lars Gollenia on October 1, 2022. Landmann will join the company’s EMEA and Asia Pacific management team and will continue to lead the management and CEO practice.

Consultations at a record level

Especially in difficult times, customers appreciate the highest level of advice in matters of management, and thanks to its customers under the leadership of Landmann, the German company Spencer Stuart has been able to break sales, profit and customer satisfaction records twice in a row. During his tenure, the team managed to acquire many new clients, and the scope of advisory services for listed companies, family businesses and private equity companies was specially expanded. In addition, Spencer Stuart was the first and only search company to undertake half a list of candidates for board positions with suitable applicants.

Regular change

By shifting responsibility to Lars Gollenia, Spencer Stuart is practicing a management rotation model in the sense of the collegial transfer of leadership from one generation to the next. Lars Gollenia has been managing the European Digital & Chief Technology Officer Practice for two years and advises companies on digital corporate transformation. He joined Spencer Stuart six years ago from SAP. As vice president, he was responsible for the global creation and management of SAP Management Consulting and for developing a corporate digital transformation strategy for strategic SAP clients.

Ralf Landmann will continue to bring his expertise to the benefit of his customers in his new assignments, which are central to Spencer Stuart. He has been working for the company since 2014, and since 2019 he has been the managing director for Germany. His term ends at the end of September 2022, in keeping with the Spencer-Stuart culture. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Ralf Landmann was a senior partner at Roland Berger, a member of the global automotive management team and managing director of the consulting firm’s Frankfurt office. He started his career at Daimler / Mercedes-Benz.
