reconcept: The green bond business is also doing well in the first half of 2022.

  • Over 750 investors involved in green projects from EUR 13.3 million
  • The supply of wind energy benefits from high electricity prices
  • 50% of the bonds for the Hilpensberg wind farm have already been placed

Hamburg, On July 5, 2022, the reconcept group had an enjoyable first half of 2022, where the green bond business continued to develop positively. More than 750 investors have invested EUR 13.3 million in green projects through climate positive equity investments. For comparison: in the record year of 2021, the investment capital obtained after the first six months amounted to EUR 19.8 million.

In the first half of 2022, investments were made primarily in Green Bond II, which has already been fully invested, and most recently in Green Energy Asset Bond II (ISIN: DE000A3MQQJ0). This project bond of 4.25% is used to acquire and operate the Hilpensberg wind farm, the purchase price having already been paid in full and ahead of the prospectus. The wind farm, which has been supplying green electricity to around 6,900 households in Baden-Württemberg since 2017, has a reliable technical availability on average of 99.3% for the first five months of 2022 – 98% is guaranteed by the manufacturer. In addition, the commissioning of wind energy in this period is approximately 5% above expectations, which also has a positive financial effect due to the currently high electricity prices.

“Despite the currently unstable environment in the financial markets, our business development is on the right track. Our green bonds are developing as planned, and that of course also applies to interest payments to our sustainable investors. In this respect, we and our investors can be satisfied ”, explains Karsten Reetz, managing director of the reconcept group.

Interested investors can still subscribe to Hilpensberg wind farm bonds (ISIN: DE000A3MQQJ0) via www.reconcept.de/ir. Currently, 50% of the issue volume has already been placed.
