GWS Group celebrated its 30th anniversary with two events. More than 1,000 guests came to the anniversary events for customers and partners on Friday and for employees and their families on Saturday at the GWS outdoor festival site in Münster, which has been transformed into a beach landscape these days. The main topics of the meeting for clients were values and corporate culture. The two managing directors, Udo Lorenz and Thomas Latajka, emphasized the special spirit of the company with their words of welcome.

When the subsidiary of Münster’s banking service provider Atruvia AG started its operations in Münster in 1992, the success and size of the company could only be dreamed of. The fact that it has become one of the fastest growing IT service providers in Germany was a consequence of a far-reaching, strategic decision in 2005. It was the starting point for a success story that is also directly tied to a close relationship with global player Microsoft. KG with headquarters in Greven and the wholesale branch of SHD Wholesale Software GmbH & Co. KG, the company’s activity has been gradually expanded and expanded over the years. Currently, the GWS group of companies consists of GWS Gesellschaft für Warenwirtschafts-Systeme mbH, subsidiaries of DIACOM Systemhaus GmbH and faveo GmbH and a majority stake in OSG Online Software Gesellschaft für Neue Medien mbH. In 2021, the group achieved sales of EUR 68.8 million. As in previous years, the growth compared to the previous year exceeded both the growth of the general gross domestic product and the development of the ICT industry.
