The number of new corona infections registered in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has increased by 1,855 cases since Tuesday (as of Wednesday 15:26). That’s 15 more cases than a week ago. The number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 2,297 (+3).

Increasing number of new infections in children
LAGuS publishes a report on the condition of the crown among children and adolescents broken down by age groups. According to a report from Wednesday (July 20), there are 49 new infections nationwide among children 0-5 years old, the seven-day incidence of new infections in this group was 232. There were 70 new infections among children aged 6-11 years old. cases, the incidence was 237. In the age group from 12 to 17 years, 68 new infections were recorded, and the incidence was 358.
