Kelheim.The district youth council and the youth welfare office have developed a program with 22 activities for school-age children.

According to the press office of the Kelheim District Office, the campaign for the 2022 Christmas Passes is the result of cooperation between the Kelheim District Youth Council and the Kelheim District Youth Welfare Office. During the holiday season, a total of 22 classes are offered for children and teenagers from the age of six. Many tours are fully booked. However, there are still offers where seats are available.

The computer course in Mainburg will be held on Monday 1 August and Tuesday 2 August from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Mainburg Adult Education Center. Cost: 15 euros.

“Evangelical youth makes you (just) cheer. On Tuesday 2 August in Neustadt and Wednesday 3 August in Abensberg you will spend an exciting day with the city rally, various group games and a great handicraft event, ”reads the statement. Cost: twelve euros each.

A trip to the underground

On Monday, August 8, there will be a trip to the fascinating underground world of the Schulerloch dripstone cave. After a short hike, the participants explore the dripstone formations and learn everything about the life of bats. Cost: eight euros.

On Wednesday, August 17th, participants will first learn all about hops and the harvest, and make their own hops soap. Then they compete with their opponents in swordfights, skirmishes in the ring and archery. Cost: 15 euros.

In the field of experiences for the development of the senses, on Monday, August 22, you will discover your own senses together, amazing physical phenomena and the laws of nature. Cost: eight euros.

An unforgettable experience awaits the participants of the ropes course on Thursday, August 25. “Here you can experience your own emotional and psychological limitations, feel the thrill of emotions and a rush of adrenaline, and triumph over your own fears” – promise the organizers. The offer is valid for people aged 12 and over and costs € 17.

Visit the Liberation Hall on Monday, August 29. Participants learn all about the life of the Celts and talk the way from Celt to the king. They design Celtic arrow jewelry, craft a Celtic leather handbag, design a royal crown, and design their own liberation hall. Cost: seven euros.

On Monday, September 5th, it will be “Catch Me If You Can.” KjG and the participants set off on the Ghost Trail through Bad Abbach. Cost: twelve euros.

On Wednesday, September 7, participants will spend unforgettable hours with animals in the Birds and Animals Park and will be able to admire pheasants, eagle owls, parrots, ponies, goats, llamas and many other animals.

Then they visit the Hundertwasser Tower and learn about the life of the legendary wheat beer dwarfs. Cost: 13 euros.

On Friday, September 9, during an exciting afternoon with the youth of the Red Cross, participants will learn about the various activities of the Red Cross: rescue, ambulance, preparedness and Red Cross youth. The organizers promise an exciting afternoon. Cost: ten euros.

In addition, on Wednesday, August 31, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Donau-Gymnasium will once again host a day of creative children’s culture, which will be organized together with the arts group from the Kelheim district. Here, kids can get creative, paint, do crafts, pottery and paint faces. The offer is free, registration is not necessary.
