When it comes to announcing movies and series, the Star Wars brand is stronger than ever. It’s just silly that most of these big reports have been out of date for eternity and are accompanied by countless rumors that everything has already been scrapped before the actual launch shot. Would you like some examples? Sometimes a trilogy was planned by the producers of Game of Thrones David Benioff and DB Weiss that would never see the light of day. The planned Star Wars trilogy by the director of “The Last Jedi” and “Knives Out” Rian Johnson is not that bad, but similarly problematic – the project is said to be still planned after the big fan protests around Episode 8 keep silent disturbingly about the series .
Clearly things are much better for Kevin Feige – and not just with the myriad MCU heroes: Marvel Master has also been entrusted with Lucas Arts director’s Kathleen Kennedy’s upcoming Star Wars film. He seems to be making progress, albeit slowly.
Ciao, Tatooine: Finally the end of the Skywalkers, the Empire and the famous planets?
In an interview with Variety, screenwriter Michael Waldron (“Loki”, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, “Rick and Morty”) talked about the upcoming movie and at least hinted at what to expect from it – and there is “A New Hope” for an insanely huge cinema brand that has been fighting for years, at least on the big screen, to create new stars in a fantastic sky.
“After all, we take it seriously”according to Waldron. “I mean, I just start writing. It’s great fun. I like to be free to do something that isn’t necessarily a sequel or something. Could have a little less – there are just not many TV shows and movies you need to keep up to date, such as Doctor Strange. It is really nice. It’s like fresh exercise.
At first glance, the interview does not contain much information on a possible plot or directing of the movie, but it is very interesting that Waldron talks about a detached project that is not based on anything or related to other movies and series is – unusual for the current orientation Star Wars (editor Chris Fussy criticizes the direction and finally wants a breath of fresh air), which is always firmly based on the pillars of the brand.

Big brand on the small screen: Away from the cinema, things happen!
It’s a bit silly when you think about how such a big brand – a milestone in the history of cinema! – as insignificant as it could become in today’s cinema – the pathetic finale of “The Rise of Skywalker” by director JJ Abrams naturally plays a big part in this. However, far from the world cinemas in Star Wars everything is going great. Along with Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most extensive Star Wars franchises of all time is coming to Disney Plus in-house streaming service this month. Projects like Ahsoka (filming finally starts!) And The Mandalorian – the latter, which many fans see as the salvation of the brand, are also developing well, incidentally, are also conceived and written by Marvel filmmaker: Iron Man director and Happy Jon actor Favreau.
Will Quanticc Dream open the world of Star Wars? The announced adventure “Star Wars Eclipse”, which according to insiders is to be released in 2025, is the first medium, apart from books and comics, that will finally break the Star Wars brand from well-known pillars such as Empire, the Skywalker family & the company? “/>
