Deichkind became famous with such hits as “Work sucks”, “Leider geil” and “Remmidemmi”. After having been unable to hold a concert for almost two years due to Corona, the Hamburgers are now back on the stage.
Founded in 1997 or 1999 – no one really knows – Deichkind has now released seven studio albums. The last album entitled “Who Says That?” was released in September 2019. Half a year before the crown pandemic. Hence, fans and viewers may assume that the long-awaited aurora album tour will finally be made up for with the upcoming concerts.

Deichkind in Essen: What can we expect from the exhibition?
Deichkind concerts are not boring at all. Anyone who inspires with party hits such as “Remmidemmi” and gives out showers of beer, who surfs on dinghies and comes up with more and more unusual stage costumes, will certainly not bore the audience with a quiet evening. For years, the formation from the Hanseatic city has been considered a trustworthy party beast and is destroying the appropriate location time and time again. This can also be assumed in Essen am Baldeneysee.
Deichkind concert: How to get to Seaside Beach by public transport?
The easiest way to get to Seaside Beach is via public transport. The S-Bahn train takes only three stops from Essen main station towards Düsseldorf to the Essen-Hügel stop.
