Thomas Hübner, better known by his stage name Clueso, has been on the scene for over 20 years. In 2001, he released his debut album “Text und Ton” on Fantastischen Vier Four Music, followed by eight more studio albums. Now the singer is coming to Cologne.

In autumn 2022, the native of Erfurt will set off on a tour after the release of his last album “Album” in October 2021. In fact, most of the shows were already planned in the last two years, but they were postponed many times due to the crown pandemic. Now the tour has finally been postponed. The 42-year-old stays in a total of 12 German cities, including Cologne.

Clueso in Cologne: Where is the concert held?

As part of the “Album” tour, Clueso will perform at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. This is the only all-round concert in North Rhine-Westphalia. Meanwhile, Clueso is no longer only active in the realm of hip-hop and rap, but also appears as a singer / songwriter and producer.

When does Clueso arrive in Cologne?

The Clueso concert in Cologne at the Lanxess Arena will take place on September 23. The tour in Austria starts two days earlier in Vienna before the first concert in Germany takes place in Cologne. The last concert will be held on October 8 in Saarbrücken.

How many viewers are there?

Lanxess Arena has a maximum capacity of 20,000 spectators. There are slightly fewer of them at sports events, so only 18,700 spectators can watch ice hockey and 19,400 spectators in handball. Time will tell if the Clueso will reach full power.

Clueso has already released nine albums, in October 2021 the last album was released. Songs from his latest album “Album” should be played as a priority, but the Thuringian also has a number of other hit singles up his sleeve. The Lanxess Arena has three public transport stops. You can choose whether you want to get off at “Bahnhof Köln Deutz / Messe”, “Bahnhof Deutz / LANXESS arena” or “Deutz Technische Hochschule”. The following lines stop at the bus stops:

  • Tram: 1, 3, 4 and 9
  • Bus: 150, 153, 156, 250 and 260
  • S-Bahn: S 6, S 11, S 12, S 13

Lanxess Arena, Cologne: Where can I park my car?

The Lanxess Arena can also be reached by car. Then, it is best to follow the signs “LANXESS arena” and “Koelnmesse”. The Cologne / Deutz train station is also in the immediate vicinity of the Arena. There are ample parking spaces in the Lanxess Arena – and they are signposted. There are also multi-storey car parks in the immediate vicinity.

If you are coming from the direction of Olpe / Siegen, take the A4 or B55 towards Köln-Zentrum to the exit “LANXESS arena” and then follow the signs.

If you are coming from Frankfurt, take the A3 to the Heumar junction and then take the A4 exit towards Aachen to the Gremberg junction. From there, take the A559 towards Cologne-Deutz to the end of the motorway.

If you are coming from Bonn or the airport, take the A559 towards Köln-Zentrum, -Deutz to the end of the motorway. From Aachen and Koblenz take the A4 motorway at the Köln-West motorway junction towards Olpe, Frankfurt to the Gremberg motorway junction. Then take the A559 towards Cologne-Deutz to the end of the motorway.

If you are from Krefeld or Neuss, take the A57 to the end of the motorway and then take the B55 towards Zoobrücke, Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost until you see the exit “LANXESS arena”.
